ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Emily Bishop is a licensed interior designer living and working in Washington, DC.

Since 2004, following several years working with prominent area design firms, she has grown Emily Bishop Interior Design into a full service studio specializing in residential and commercial spaces.

Finding inspiration in color, travel, music and underground pop culture, Emily seeks to create interiors that positively change the way individuals perceive the environments in which they live and work. Her designs – which combine classic proportions with clean modern lines – reflect more than a decade spent honing her technique.

With an ever-vigilant eye on the details, Emily is dedicated to creating spaces that enhance her clients' lives while balancing form and function.

Emily Bishop holds a BFA in Interior Design from the University of Georgia.
