Dixon has built an impressive resume that includes private residences and commercial projects nationwide, as well as accolades from regional and national organizations and media. Barry has appeared on “Good Morning America” a number of times including a week-long series where he decorated a living room live on television. Barry is a veteran of show houses, including the entire Southern Accents “Capital Design House” and the entire 2007 Southern Accents Show House at Homestead Preserve. He has also done a suite for client and ABC news anchor Diane Sawyer in Traditional Home’s “Built for Women Show House.” He designed all twenty-four rooms of Traditional Home’s “Weekend Living in Montecito” Show House – a wonderful project overlooking the Pacific Ocean. For the fourth consecutive year House Beautiful has identified him as one of America’s top designers. His work is featured frequently in numerous publications, including Traditional Home, Southern Accents and House Beautiful. In addition, eleven different design books include Barry’s projects. “Barry Dixon Interiors”, Barry’s first book, written by well-known author Brian Coleman with photography by Edward Addeo, is schedule to be published in 2008.
