Welcome to the 2008 DC Design House – Washington, DC’s premier design house showcasing the talents of 15 of the DC Metro area’s top designers – to benefit Children’s National Medical Center.
We are delighted to host this very special event in the lovely Georgetown East Village historic home we have completely renovated. The home was originally a Boy’s School in the 1840s. Children’s National Medical Center was therefore the natural beneficiary of the event due to their leadership in children’s healthcare, and because they also have a special place in our hearts.
We would like to thank the dedicated members of the Executive Committee for their tireless professional efforts, the many Volunteers who have generously donated their time, and the skillful Designers who have displayed their talents – all for the worthy cause of transforming children’s healthcare in our nation’s capital. We hope that you enjoy!
