A Welcome From the Founders

Welcome to the 2013 DC Design House – Washington, DC’s premier design house showcasing the talents of the area’s finest designers – to benefit Children’s National Medical Center.
We are delighted to host this notable event this year with the newly built 14,000 sg-ft home in Wesley Heights offering five bedrooms, eight full baths and four half baths.

This magnificent home, designed by GTM Architects, and just completed provides a fresh canvas for this year’s team of talented DC Design House interior designers chosen by their peers to create one of the best show house tour experiences on the East Coast!

We would like to thank our Executive Team, Sandra Steele and Taylor Wells, Susan Hayes Long, and Sherry Moeller, and the dedicated members of the Executive Committee for their tireless professional efforts, the many Volunteers who generously donate their time, and the skillful interior Design professionals and their vendors who display their talents – all for the worthy cause of transforming children’s healthcare in our nation’s capital.
