Children's Circle of Care
The Children's Circle of Care was founded by nineteen prominent pediatric hospitals in North America in 1995. Created to honor individual philanthropists and encourage increased giving, the society recognizes the critical role of philanthropists in assuring excellence in pediatric care. Today, twenty-four hospitals participate in the program.
The mission of the Children's Circle of Care is to advance philanthropy through the education and recognition of leading benefactors to member children's hospitals. Annual gifts of $10,000 and more are helping to find solutions to the health problems affecting a most precious resource, our children. Through the commitment of its members, Children's Circle of Care furthers the work of Children's National Medical Center as the top pediatric hospital in the Washington, DC region.

Child Health Center Board
Founded in 1886, the Child Health Center Board (CHCB) is a non-profit organization established to "keep the well child well," protecting the health of children by supporting programs that provide health care through prevention, intervention and education. CHCB supports Children's National Medical Center through outreach, advocacy and fundraising.
In 2006, CHCB pledged $1,000,000 as the founding sponsor of the Child Health Advocacy Institute (CHAI) to proactively address health threats impacting children and serve as an influential national voice in the development of child health policy. Through its annual grants program, CHCB also supports numerous health initiatives in Children's community clinics in Shaw, Adams Morgan and Anacostia.
In 2009, CHCB also made a $500,000 commitment to become a founding sponsor of the Obesity Institute at Children's National Medical Center, which will lead the effort to create innovative solutions to threats to children's health caused by being overweight and obese, through treatment, advocacy and public policy, research, and education.
